It is Feb 6-8. The CAOS site is the main one that posts what is going on at Grey Rock and they have had it posted for a while.
I am either going to camp Friday night and ride Saturday or will make a day trip and just ride Saturday.

If it was up to me I'd leave monday, and get lost for a week . Realistically ,i'll probably be leaving Friday afternoon. |

My plans have changed a little. I have to drive a school bus to and from EMCC Friday. I am not going to get to take the 1/2 day that I thought I was. However, I am going to try to be loaded and ready to roll by 4:30 Friday afternoon. Regardless, I am traveling and camping Friday night and riding Sat. I am not sure if we are spending Sat. night.

I am leaving Amory around 4pm . I don't know if I'll get there in time to set up the tent. I might have to rough it in a hotel near by.I also have a friend that lives up the road that I might stay with. Either way I'll be there soon.

If it's earlier in the evening then I'll just strike out early Sat. morning.
Also, I'll be a first timer and by myself at GrayRock so I'd like to catch up with
someone there and get pointed in the right direction before I find myself on a trail
that I have no business on.

I am not sure there is a cut off time. I don't really think they close the gates. I don't anticipate getting there before 7:00 P.M. myself. My truck will be a white 92 chevy 3500 with a large slide-in truck camper in the back of it. I will be wheeling a green tube buggy. Hook up with us when you get there. It has been a few years since I have been there. I may need to refamilarize myself with trails. Brian, I am bringing JD that you met at Hot Springs and my oldest son. The truck camper is a bit small, but if you are desperate there will be room to make a pallet in a warm spot. |
