I finished lining my CJ7 today, inside and out. Here is the completed interior: Here is the exterior when we finished roughing it up with 80 grit: And here is the exterior right after we got through spraying: Now a couple of days to cure and we can start putting it all back together!

WOW! that looks real good. What product are you using? Are you in the business?

The product is Liner Xtreeme. And no, I'm not in the business - just a starving high school student who's anxious to get back on the trail.

We've been getting some requests for some updates on the CJ, so here you go: Beautiful, man!

I am so jealous. Go ahead and give that thing a SOA while you're at it.

SOA? Spring over axle ...?

SOA? Spring over axle ...? Yup. Nets you a few inches of lift. All you gotta do is cut the old perches off and weld some new ones on. RE has a full conversion kit for the YJ, and it's just as overpriced as you'd expect from RE. I'm sure you could find someone that has the pre-fabbed perches you could just weld on.

The jeep looks great, that liner sets it apart. If you need any help with the wiring let me know. Also, this past weekend on spiketv, the show extreme4x4 covered everything you need to know about doing an SOA conversion. They used an '86 Land Cruiser, and to do it right for highway travel is not as easy as you would think. Keeping the camber correct is the problem. Did anyone see the show?

Seriously that CJ is the shizzle. If you need any help this weekend or this week or whatever let me know. I'd love to check it out in person.

The more I look at that CJ, the more I like it. It's begging for some bigger tires, though. What you got on there now?
