good progress. i don't know about the traction bar question, but here's what would seem logical: when the engine torques it twists the jeep to the right, therefore twisting the pass. side springs more. that's one reason race cars are set up with stiffer springs on the right side, and why Currie builds its coils with a higher spring rate on the pass. side to climb better supposedly.
it's purely speculation and i really don't know.

that's great Brad! good to hear you like it. Chip, shouldn't you be working or something? I will be able to try it out a little more when I get my traction bar done and get a rear driveshaft... I hope to have it done by this Saturday. There is a group of guys riding the creek in Carroll county. They always have a bunch of 4 wheelers but I told them next time they go I want to take my Jeep... Anybody up for tagging along?

It looks good! Get it finished and we will see if it can handle the sand as good as the waggy.

Clint, if I get it done by this weekend, do you want to ride shotgun? I have no idea what I will be getting into but I figure that if it is not too deep for the 4 wheelers then I should be okay. I just have a few more hours of work left. I got the cross member and most of the traction bar fabbed up tonight. I just need to finish welding it up and add some bracing, then weld it to the axle tube. I can do the finishing touches later like covering the end of the rear crossmember and boxing in the rear hangers.

Yeah, we can try the road behind the house I made. It is not very deep there. Down at the pile of rocks, it is about 9 feet deep in that area, so I would stay away from that. We will watch the depth because you would not want any sand in any of your diffs.
