the pic is from the last night's initial work on the bumper...my old one stuck out WAY too far-straight out from the grill. i raised the new one four inches and you can see the slope between the bottom of the bumper and the frame that gives the bronco a better approach angle. i think it will help me get on top of rocks that i used just bang the bumper against and stop. i trimmed the top corners, filled in the little triangle-shaped open spaces, trimmed the tubing in front of the headlights, and smoothed all the welds today. i'm waiting until tomorrow to pull it inside so i can paint it and build a rear bumper. i still have to add mounts for D-rings.

nice, i was wondering when that old bumper was going to come off... or just fall off from the all the hell its been through

haha...well it was severely bent and twisted in the end. i'll get pics of the completed one shortly.
