Craig it sounds like great progress. I wish I had a tank that size rather than the 40 gallon that I have. Did you see another lying around?

bean, good to hear from you, and thanks for the help the last couple of days...now if we can set up the gears, build a cage, mount the rad., make it run on propane, i may be able to move it out of the driveway to everyone, i'l like to introduce bean. a friend that i can't seem to do any work without.

gears and detroit locker are set up in the front end. i'm helping bean take his 5.0 back out of his bronco tomorrow, then hopefully i'll have the front end on tires and on the ground wednesday night. on to the cage after that.

with a lot of help from paul, i've got the majority of the cage built. just need to add some tubing for braces and make a place to mount the propane tank. the front end is basically finished. waiting on high steer arms from wagoner machine to finish the steering up. lots of detail work to do this week before moab.

well it's not too late yet, but we are in moab and having a blast. i'll post up in general for that info. as far as the build goes...well, i worked for six days straight for at least 12 hours a day before we left thursday night at midnight. angry bronco is now finished and going strong in moab!
the last week i finished the front axle, rear axle, moved shackle mounts again, built anti-wrap spring perches, hooked up the propane, mounted the front clip and radiator, mounted rear fenders, built the rollcage, built shock hoops for the rear, installed synthetic winch rope w/ alum. fairlead, mounted optima inside cab, installed shoulder harnesses.
also did lots of welding and little stuff to finish up that take up time. it's all in the details. they really held me up this time. anyway, it's done and it has worked great so far out here.

Update- after i got finished and went to moab, i haven't touched it. the cage is rusting b/c i'm too lazy to go out and paint it. i'm just burned out on it right now. we rode at a place called rock bottom creek a couple of months ago, and i need to repack my wheel bearings after that b/c the water was way over my tires in several places.

Are you too lazy to take pictures?? The only pic I have seen of your bronco after you finished is your tiny avatar. I am sure you have some good pics from Moab. I need to live vicariously through your bronco and it is really hard to do that without pics.

I finally got to see it in person this past weekend. It looks really cool. I wish I could have watched it on the trail more.
