Well, I tried to register this morning and it asked for payment, etc for $47. Went so far as to ask for credit card number/paypal account so, I guess the free rides are used up. The whole event is limited to 200 vehicles and since it apears that over 100 have registered, could be sold out soon. I am really ready to get this thing on the trails again but still working on a way to trailer it there instead of flat-towing it like last Christmas. Just want a backup plan in case something breaks that keeps it from rolling. -jim Signed up and paid the money. I'm in. -jim

I just made reservations to camp at J&J campground. We are going to get there Saturday around Lunch and stay until Monday.
David, I want to get up with your group and ride when I get there. Will you have your cell phone with you?
Also, bring those H2 wheels if you can.

Yeah, I will have my cell phone. If you cant reach me on the cell try channel 10 on the CB. I will also tell BJ which trails we will be running so you can find us easier. I will bring the wheels.

Hmm, we might not make it out that early. I plan on taking the delta route. It's flatter for most of the way and I don't have to tow through Memphis and Little Rock. We came back that way last Christmas and it wasn't too bad.

We came back that way last Christmas and it wasn't too bad. How long does it take you? I went 82 to 55 last time and it made going through Memphis much easier. I feel that it cut out 30min of going 45 to 78.

you are probably right, Jason, since 82 is all 4 lane from Starkville to Winona now. If you take 82 all the way to lake village and go up it will probably be even shorter distance, but the road between pine bluff and hot springs is mostly two lane and kinda curvy. You also have several stop lights and intersections through the delta. I have been that way a couple times and it's not bad. You can make it in 6.5 hours from your house I would imagine... maybe even 6 at that time of the morning.

expedia shows that it is 53 miles shorter for us to go that way. It has to be quicker to go that way. It definitely should save fuel to go that way.
