I am liking the sound of Coal Creek. It is about 200 miles closer and it seems as if there is fun for everyone - ATV's to Jeeps. 160 miles of trails open will keep you occupied a while! www.coalcreekohv.com/ |

Coal Creek would be a little more doable for me. However dont make any plans around me. I'm thinking of having my tonsils taken out about then, but it's really an excuse to take vacation. If I get them out the week of Ms states spring break, then I should be able to go, but the week after that is MUW's spring break and I'm going skiing with my wife. I'm already taking a few days off for that, so if I play my cards just right I will wind up with both weeks of Spring break off allowing me to go riding with yall. If you'll permitt me to ride while high on syrup;)
It's about 50/50 that I can go. I'll let yall know asap.

Coal Creek sounds like a place I'd like to go. Are we still talking leaving Sunday afternoon (9th) and coming back wed. or thurs.? or what?

If we go to Coal Creek, Dad and I may go up to Harlan a few days the weekend before, then come down to Coal Creek and meet up with everyone.
I'm still looking for an output shaft. Anybody got one?

Dude if you get your tonsils taken out you will not be doing anything for a minimum of 7 days! I had mine taken out a year ago and I consider myself a pretty tough guy. It put me down! That is no doubt the worse pain I have expereinced in my life. My stitches tickled my gag reflex when all of the medication wore off. I dry heaved so much that it tore stuff loose. I lost 29 lbs. in 5 days. I am not trying to scare you, but just trying to make you prepared. I am glad of the benefits that it gave me, but thank goodness I will not have to do it again. |

I guess we'll see, but if you drink enough of that syrup you wont feel anything. May not feel like doing much of anything, but they gotta come out. And I may as well do it when I have an option to do something else in my time off of work. I dont get time off all that often, so I'll try to tough it out.
But also like I said dont make any plans around me

My spring break was eaten up while I was in Italy... but I can't wait for May to get here so I will be DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!
That aside, I would suggest planning for a trip that you want to make, but also have a backup plan in case weather hinders, or something else happens that may shorten the trip. You can always go to Hot Springs, its always open I believe, so that would be a good backup. Oh, and make sure you take spare trailer tireS... yes, that is with a capital "S". I have seen too many flats ruin half a day b/c you're in the middle of nowhere and out of spares.

I am actually working on trying to finish 3 differant projects for people so I can get my plans together.I know I won't be finished with one major one in time but I want to be far enough ahead that I don't feel bad about taking some time off.
On the other hand anyone want to go to Gardendale for the weekend in a couple of weeks??
