November is too soon for me, but I would like to see who's interested in going wheeling some time b/w christmas and new years. I would like to go to either Hot Springs or Tellico. It doesnt matter to me, I havent been to Hot Springs yet but I love Tellico and havent been there in over 2 years. Let me know what yall think soon so I can get some planning in. The board has been kind of slow lately and Id like to see it come back.

Christmas falls on a monday this year, which means Ill be taking that week off and I will have the following monday off since its New Years Day.
What do yall think about leaving on the 26 (tues) and coming back on the weekend (30 or 31)? Thatll give us 3 or 4 whole days of trail riding.

The board has been kind of slow lately and Id like to see it come back. It's called 'we have lives away from the internet.' You're the one who's slow Chip. Seriously though-- I'd be interested in going somewhere. What happened to Tellico plans around Thanksgiving. Is the CMSJ going? I REALLY want to go to Tellico. -RC

So...... The wife set up her family and us to vacation in a rental less than an hour north of Hot Springs the week between Christmas and New Years. My question is, is it worth it to flat tow my mostly stock CJ5 behind the surburban for probably one day of wheelin at Hot Springs? Never been to Hot Springs before so I can't judge. The web site seems to indicate there are a few mild trails for a stocker, and the talk here seems positive for the more agressive trails, so...?

they have both, extreme to mild... you would have fun, even in a stocker.

This is at Hot Springs correct? Tellico is mentioned earlier in the thread. I personally would rather experience Hot Springs. I am putting it on my calendar as soon as I hit the "Post Reply" button. Everybody else will have to schedule around me! If it in on my calendar then it is final Is CMSJ going?

I am taking the buggy. Given the current condition of my Jeep it will get stuck in wet grass going down hill.
