Along with the 4.0 L I6 engine we are putting in our CJ, we are also switching over to a serpentine belt system. We would like to stick with the Saginaw P-series power steering pump with the integrated reservoir. We need a bracket for this. Did any 4.0 L engines with serpentine belts use the tear-drop shaped P-series pump?
If we can't find a bracket (with the belt adjustment), does anyone have a good argument why we should switch to the later TC-series pump with the separate plastic reservoir?

I'm almost positive my '88 XJ 4.0L PS pump had an integrated reservoir on it. It had a serpentine belt and the adjustment was the PS mounting bracket. Invite Clint over for dinner one night and make John go out and steal his PS bracket while he's eating. -RC
