My wifes Grand just died on her yesterday, it is getting fuel but not spark. I checked the ign coil and its good and is getting power. I replaced the pickup coil in the distributor but still has no fire. I found a blown 20amp fuse in the interior fuse panel but no idea what it goes to, the owners manual was never in the truck. I replaced the fuse but still isnt doing anything. Anybody have any ideas?

My XJ had a similar problem. Try looking into the CPS (crank position sensor). It sits on top of the auto tranny and the hookup is at the back of the valve cover. Disconnect it from the wiring harness and connect it back. If it starts, you know you need a new sensor. Mine went bad a few times on the XJ. Hope this helps. -RC

Well I pulled the CPS plug and checked for voltage (as per Chiltons) and voltage was good going to it. When replugging it there was no change but from what I have red the 4.0 in the zj's have had issues with it so tomorrow will go buy a new one and try it out. Ill let you know if it works.
