It is definitely a nice rig. In the Tradewinds stock YJ's are going from $6000 - $8000. The axles probably came out of a 78 or 79 F250. It is probably a high pinion, reverse cut dana 44 front - great axle. For the most part the axles are bolt in - may have to build some spring perches. That is a very common axle swap for a YJ. You could probably buy a whole F250 for around $500 or less. By the time you add bead locks, extra shafts, new top, many labor hours for installing the axles, etc. you may be hitting close to $10,000. It may be a pretty good deal if a fellow has 10 large laying around. Was it you that was making comments about square headlights a while back?

What about this XJ? I dont know if the 60 is the one with the thicker axle housing or not, looks kinda small. The price is 5000 obo, so I could probably get it for 4000. I dont know about an XJ though, even though it could fit more people which is always cool. Hydro steering would definitely be a quick upgrade. www.cannland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=503
