What stall torque converters are the best for rockcrawling? I am new to this automatic transmission game. My setup will be a 350, th350, hd231-300 doubler, and 5.13 gears... with a 4:1 going in the d300 at a later date. It will be offroad only. What say ye?

I was always told it depends on the power range of the motor. I always ran stock converter. That is what was in my th400, and that is what I have for my 4l60e. That might be a good Pirate4x4 question.

i'd stick with a stock convertor for rockcrawling. i think comp. guys run higher stalls for launches going up tall and long ledges

Stock converters have the lowest stalls. That is what I would stick with
