Well I have finally cut enough yards this summer to save up enough money to finish my LS1. I just got the block back from the machine shop. Now I am waiting on the rings to come in to put the bottom end together. I will try to put up some pics as I go. Here is how it sits now.   |

Man that looks nice. Have fun putting it together. How much HP will the engine have when you're done?

It should be 345hp 365tq. Well I checked the main bearing clearance tonight, btw 6 bolt mains are a PIA to torque down. They all checked out to be perfect, so I now have the crank in. Just waiting on rings to come in.    Sorry for the poor pics. That is as good as my phone gets. |

Ran out of money! I had to fix my wife's car after I hit a deer. I do have the bottom end together, and the heads are at the machine shop being looked over. I hope after May 4th, I will have time and money to finish. If anyone knows of an Industrial Eng. position open please let me know.
