You would have thought that the new hummers would have learned that Jeeps plain RULE, but apparently they aren't done trying to win over a few jeep fans....personally, it looks like it would break the first time on the trail.......but who knows....what do you guys think www.autoblog.com/photos/detroit-2008-hummer-hx-concept/558763/

It will fail, it has all-time 4WD and independent suspension front and back. It has a good wheelbase at 103" with 35" tires stock, with a nice 304 hp V6, but it's still too big and heavy for what we do with our jeeps. Jeeps are too versatile when looking at weight ratios and suspension setup. Hummer will have a hard time beating that. This concept is just another soccer mom's dream summer vehicle.

I agree, it does look kinda mean and has some impressive features. Call me strange but I just dont like newer model vehicles for offroad purposes. Just seems like all those stock bells and whistles dont hold up on the trail, and wind up very expensive to fix. What's your thoughts on the newest jeeps? Are they making them as rugged as ever? But I'm with you, it will probably break pretty easily. And definitely a soccer moms dream car, a hot one, but still soccer mom.
