Hey everyone. I am new to the site. I am 34 and married with one 8 year old boy. I am an aircraft mechanic at Columbus AFB. I currently live in Columbus but no stranger to the surrounding area. I have owned my share of Jeeps but current time eating beast is my Ford Ranger 4x4. I don't know how much I will be posting but I enjoy reading all the tech stuff...maybe I'll see some of y'all around.-Jonathan

Good to see you on here Jonathan. Let me know when you got that shim pack and bearings and we'll try the Detroit install. This weekend I'm going home. My Explorer/Ranger/Aerostar service manual is there and I'll pick it up. -RC

My name is Jonathan Harrell. I just got on this site, I met a guy (whose name i can't remember) at sonic in Aberdeen and he told me about this site. I have a 79' CJ5 (Safety Yellow) that is currently undergoing some modifications. when i got it i did painting, seats, .... I just put a new motor in (258 inline 6), put in 3.73 in rear (doing front this weekend), putting on a 4" lift this weekend (hopefully), 33 X 12.50 mud dawgs on crager simulated beadlocks.

Great to meet you Jonathan. You a student at MSU? I'll be interested in seeing your rig since I have a '78 Sunshine yellow cj5. I work on campus so if you are around Starkville, you can't miss me. You'll have to post pics of your buildout. I'm still trying to decide how far to take mine.
