I am remotely thinking about going to this event- Nov. 13-14. It has been a while since I have been to Gray Rock. I am a little confused about the description on the web site. At one point it states it will not be an open ride weekend, but at the end it says that it will. I certainly will not go if I have to compete. Anybody interested in camping and riding.

I am very interested . Count me in and keep in touch . Brian are you still feeling like going. There is a guy in WP that has a TJ with a small lift and 35's that thinks he wants to get into trail riding. He is very interested in going to Grayrock. The ought to be able to experience it all at Grayrock.

Dad-gum West Point had to become 5A region 1 district champs again this year. That means we will host the first round of the playoffs. That means that I will have to work the game Fri night the 12th. That means I will not get to leave early like I was thinking. That means I will probably spend Sat night.

If nobody will talk I will just start talking to myself.) I may be getting ready for the funny farm.

Dan , come on out and ride with us . Brian I am not sure at this point if I am taking my TJ or the buggy. The master cylinder and various other things are locked up on my buggy from it setting up. If I have time between pee wee soccer and football and church/school activities this next week I will fix it. If that does not come together I will take my TJ. My primary desire for this trip will be to watch some good action in the competition. Will you camp or go over just for the day?

Brian is not going to be able to make it due to family obligations. I will be taking my buggy and maybe camper to spend Sat night. Kevin and TC are newbies who will be following me. They have been wanting to see this kind of riding first hand. With a $5000 payout and Alabama folks we may see a good show.

We had a good time at grayrock sat. Things have gotten a little faster paced in rock crawling. Heck, I would not call it crawling anymore, rather racing. The purse race up cable hill was amazing to watch. I don't know how most of that equipment stayed together. I compare it to Nascar going up a hill. The new guy that I took with me is hooked. He has been building his rig in his mind since we got back.

Yeah, "Crawling" is a thing of the past for a lot of folks. Rock bouncing it is-for now anyway. I'll still recreational wheel and have tons of fun.
