just making it one day at a time here. I have been doing preventative maintenance this week with the anticipation that some "mans up" and calls for a ride somewhere. My buggy sat up so long with some moisture in the front hubs that they locked up. I have replaced all the bearings, seals and boots on the Rockwells. I should be ready when someone gives the word.

Btw, I went to Fulton for a work day yesterday. I was only able to stay a few hours in the morning.

This could be the understatement of the year! LOL I've been posting pictures of our progress on the rebuild of Cortez and no one has made any comments. The dash went in last week and we're almost through wiring it. It feels like we're only a few days from trying to crank it up!

I've heard some comments recently about a muddin' place west of Pheba, I think it was called Barry's Bog. Has anyone been out there?

Hey guys, man do I miss the Starkpatch area. I’ve passed through Oktibbeha Co. a couple times in the past 2 months just to check on the ‘ole house that just won’t sell.
I actually took the CJ out to Berry’s Bog just before I hauled it down here to Brandon. They are actually rotating opening for 2 weekends and closing for 2 weekends. It was the first day that it was open. He had about 40 sign in that day and it kinda sky-rocketed from there. I think he’s been averaging between 100 and 130. They’ve got big plans for the place (pavilions, food, car wash bays, and better parking.) He’s in with one of the guys with “The Dirt Co.”, so they have lots of equipment for digging pits and clearing trails. Between the two owners there are a CJ-7 on cut 44” Boggers, an 80’s Chevy on I think 42” Boggers, and another 80’s Chevy on 38’s with a mild race motor.
They’ve made of course several mud pits, marshes, and wide open flooded fields. There’s a 2 lane mud drag strip that I believe has gotten quite deep. There’s also a winding maze of several trails; nothing demanding, any stock 4x4 could drive right through when it’s dry, but still nice to get off the asphalt. They get a LOT of 4-wheelers, but also a good many trucks and Jeeps.
I believe that it is $5 a head (driving or riding.)
I made a post a while back with a map and directions. I’ll make sure that the pics are still active.

I'm still here too. Been lurking about but haven't posted much this year. Feel like I've been swamped. Haven't been on any wheelin trips and haven't done much work on the CJ. Need several repairs before heading out somewhere. Spent much of the year working on (i.e. pouring money into) my house instead of the Jeep. Went out tonight to see gas dripping from the gas tank. Guess the JB weld isn't holding up any more. Add one more item to the list I guess. Perhaps I'll get stuff all straightened out for a spring trip of some sort. Ya'll keep posting pics up of your trips and work. I'm still web wheelin' and enjoy seeing people making progress and having fun.

Yep, I'm still here, too. We've been busy at work, and the little one takes a lot of time. She does love to ride in the Jeep, tho.

Now that the grass has stopped growing, I'm about ready for a ride, too. The place outside Starkville sounds good.

There is a Toys for Tots ride at fulton on Dec. 5 and 6 . bring a $15.00 toy and ride for the day. Rob , I need to get with you on some things before then .

West Point has won the north state 5A championship. We will play in Jackson Sat for the state championship. It has been highly encouraged that administrators to go to the game. I will get a feel this week how important it is that I go. I would much rather make the toy for tots ride.
