For those who are interested, a small muddin’ “park” is in the works just out from Starkville. I believe it’s about 40 acres and the guy has been working on it for a couple months. He’s mostly been building mud pits and a mud drag racing strip, but also clearing a few trails.
It is tentatively being called Berry’s Bog and is planning to be open this Saturday ( 8/1/09) from 1 p.m. till dark. He is charging $5 a head watching or driving. There will also be waivers to sign your life away.
Directions:
North on HWY 389/Jackson St.
West / Left on HWY 50
North / Right on County Line Rd.
East / Right on Berry Rd
I have not been out there to look yet so I have no idea what to expect.
