Is it hot or WHAT?
I "bush-hogged" half the county Saturday and Sunday. I also cleared off a ditch bank on our property and made a crossing for my wife, the crazy horse lady, to ride her horses across.
Well, late Sunday I quit and decided to take a spin in the CJ and see how my new crossing worked. As usual, my luck held.....and I broke down in the middle of the creek. The bellcrank on my clutch decided it was time to pop loose and not stay attached ( I tried several times to replace it). Had to go all the way back to the shop and get the tractor (which I had pressure washed from the hogging) and go pull it out with some help from my renter.
I went home, took a bath, and vowed not to touch anything else for the rest of the day....and I didn't!
I've got a rebuild kit on order and will be back at it by the weekend...hopefully.
Don't you just love old Jeeps?
