Heather and I are expecting number 2 after 7 years, so I planned on starting a buggy when we got back from disney world, I have a long block 4 bolt 350, 4 speed, dana 300, i have a set of dana 60's that i was going to put under the bronco but the front is a CAD dodge 60 drivers drop, should i go with a set of 3/4 ton that is already pass. drop, i am a little worried about the unit bearing and vaccum disconnect and having to get a flip kit for the 300, any ideas would be helpful. cost is a issue, we are trying to save some money for when the baby gets here.

Just get a chevy 60. sell the dodge 60 on ebay; unless you're building a super light buggy, i would throw a 60 in the front instead of a 44. by the time you build the 44 so it won't break, you'll have nearly the same amount of money as you would in a stock 60 which is still stronger than the built 44.
