Labor Day Riding??

I didn't even take a camera but MAN my Jeep performered PERFECTLY. I couldn't have asked for it to do any better. The only carnage I got was on the first and last day.

First day I broke the front driver side spring hanger. Trey Smith brought a cheap walmart welder with him and so I welded it back together. Yes if your wondering I figured I'd be back welding it again. But to my suprise I beat the hell out of it ALL weekend and it didn't break again.

Sunday I was doing to Rock Garden and got hung up on the front diff and bend my drive shaft some. I still rode the rest of the day with no issues.

This weekend = THE GREATEST!!!

Cathey and I went to Wooly's for a day. This was more of a shake down run for me than anything else. It was a fun day though. Wooly's is only 95 miles from my house and I can be there in a hour and a half. It was my first time there and the first time that they have opened since March. They have had permit problems but had them worked out.

We didn't take any action pictures, I did find one off the Tennessee Offroad site to post.

Chris was right. The weather held out perfectly Sat. and Sunday, and I ran about every trail that I could get up. Got to try out my winch and man is that the coolest winch ever! My daughter manned the camera and all I got is nature shots from the top of the hills and some flowers. She did get one of me going up the RTI ramp though. Not hardly any carnage here either. About burned up my clutch, backed into a tree and acquired a dent. Another tree bent my windshield frame on the driver's side but that was easily bent back. Verified that all my mods thus far performed well except for my driver's side rocker guard is a little too long and rubbed the rear tire at full stuff. Next on the list: An NP435 for lower gearing and some type of better carb/EFI setup.

Thanks to Chris for hauling my junk up there and back.
