Well I took delivery of Craig's M38 a week ago so I thought I'd post pictures of it's new temporary home. The parents are building a shop and since there's no real place to put it at my rental house, they're keeping it at their place. Just getting to the land: Unloaded: Fenders are back on: After it was all done we put a tarp over the whole thing. It should only be there for a few months while the shop is being built, so I think rust will stay away as long as the tarp keeps it dry. Something interesting I noticed while dad and I were there: Did you know you could grow grass on a bushog if it sits for too long?

I just moved in to one of Mark Guyton's apartments. He's going to clean out a garage over by Aiken Village in the next few weeks. When he does I'm going to start on it. Right now it's under a tarp at my parent's land in Raymond still. Sorry there's no progress. Soon though...

cool...so you got tired of the permamud streets at the Highlands. Can't blame you one bit.
I'm just throwing this out there, but would you consider selling it?

Yeah got tired of the mud streets and the constant construction (getting flat tires). My new place seems pretty nice. Not sure about the landlord, but it's pretty quiet. So you want to buy the M38 back or something? I've never considered selling it really. You having second thoughts? -RC

Yeah I don't know about your slave-driving slum lor...I mean landlord. Just kidding. I'm surprised you haven't lived there sooner, really. That will be closer to everything too, which will be nice I imagine.
Let's just say I've been kicking the idea around in my head the past few days. I had some clear inspiration for new ideas, so I've been dreaming about it again.

I gave it some thought last night. I think since I never thought of selling it I should just keep it. I am going to make a project out of it, it just might be a little while until it starts. I appreciate the offer to sell, but I think I'll just stay with it. I think if I sold it I'd regret it later (kinda like you're doing now, haha). Mark Guyton says I should price it to you for $3000 or so to make some money. FWIW I saw a guy selling an M38 body on CMSJA for $350 recently: forums.cmsja.org/YaBB.pl?num=1218897604I'll keep my eyes on the forums for other ones out there for sale too. Let me know if you need anything. -RC

LOL, no worries. I'd pay you a fair price. I respect what you're saying, and I have a direction in my head for a flattie that needs to come out somehow. Buggy this, buggy that - flatties are plain cool. I can't quite get over the neatness of them over building a buggy.
Thanks for that link. I'm going to give him a call.
