I was surfing ebay the other day and ran across a nice 4" lift kit. One of its features was shackels that enabled a cj to use yj springs. I was wondering if anyone has seen just the shackels for sale.

I found what you are looking for... RE makes them part # RE2785 for the front and RE2786 for the rear. they are greasable also...

YJ springs are 2.5" wide front and rear. CJ rear springs are 2.5" wide, but the front springs are only 1.5".
That's the only difference.
The RE springs allow you to mount the 2.5" springs to a 1.5" main eye. You could always just stack washers or replace the main eye like I am to run YJ revolvers on the front
