Well, I bought a pair of Corbeau seats finally Of course, as with everything in the Jeep world, one thing leads to another... Over Thanksgiving, I did a little work to prepare for the new seats. All of my switches were located in my center console, which isn't going to work with the width of the corbeaus. A few weeks ago I had pulled out my Frankenstein dash pad and with it comes the rest of the dash (everything screws to the pad). So, I built a new flat dash with new guages and switches. I don't have pics yet, but will get some this weekend when I get my seats mounted. I am pleased with the way the dash turned out. Also, while I had access to the welders, plasma cutters, and the like, I finished up one fender. I had begun building tube fenders, but trashed the idea and decided to go fenderless. I ran a tube from the firewall to the stinger and built sort of an inner fender to protect the computer. I took some pictures with my video camera, but my computer with the firewire is down so I can't get them uploaded yet. I may try to work on it tonight. Hopefully I can get the other fender built and the seats mounted over the weekend. Oh, and I also did a little body work and patched the hole where the stock gas filler was. Oh, and what fuel guage do I need to work with the stock sending unit? I thought I read GM on pirate or somewhere... does anybody know off the top of their head?

16 ga. steel. I was gonna use some stainless but didn't want to have to fool with cutting holes in it. Also, it's kinda hard to see, but the defroster is now a face heater
