Ok my budget boost just came in for my ZJ. As soon as Heath has his for his WJ, we'll do a spacer install party. When: This week hopefully Location: TBD but most likely the parking lot by Griffis. Clint-- You better be there by laws of moral obligation and partisan Jeep lift install rules (I helped with yours, therefore you must help on mine). I'm so anxious I might just jump into doing mine tonight. We'll see. -RC

Ok I just picked up a spring compressor at Autozone. I used thier tool borrow program, so it didn't cost anything. I'm ready to go. Heath- hurry up getting those spacers. -RC

Ok well I didn't do it tonight, so we can do both ours still Heath. The parking lot by Griffis is basically accross the 4 way stop from the Sanderson center. It's behind all those dorms back there. We'll do it whenever Heath gets his spacers. Do you want to shoot for Wed. or Thursday night Heath? You gonna drive to Columbus to get the spacers? UPS should deliver to Griffis. They do in Hurst. -RC

UPS isnt in Columbus, its out by the GTR airport. Take the GTR airport exit off hwy 82, youll go right. Then youll go about a mile, and there will be a very small square sign that says "United Parcel Service" or something like that next to a road on the left. Take that left (if you get to the airport, youve gone too far) and UPS will be the second building on the left. Its a 20 minute drive.... unfortunately I use to work there

OK due to HW and tests last week, I never installed the spacers. So-- Heath, whenever you get yours in call me and we'll put both ours on in the back lot. I'm free every night I think. -RC 312-5997

I agree the tires are looking rather small. If you get new tires RC are you gonna keep the AT's or go with something more aggressive?

I did get done with the spacers last night, thanks to the Guytons that came by after Clint and Heath left. Stormy stopped by for a little while too with his new Suzuki. Clint says he had to study for a test and left at 7, but he left his bookbag in my Jeep 'til about 10. I think Clint lies. Here's the pictures though: Just starting (the before picture): Jackstands sunk about 1/2" into the pavement. I guess because the pavements new? Not sure. Kinda freaky though. This one's proof that Clint also works on Jeeps. It's mostly for Mark Guyton. Half done. Not too much difference between the front and rear, but the rear has the spacers on. All done. Poor parking lot. I'll clean it up I promise. For now I'm leaving the tires the way they are. In a few thousand miles when they wear out I may get larger ones. I have some 31" mud terrains on my old XJ. Next time I go home I'm gonna see if they fit. -RC
