yeah, i got the 44 sitting in my yard over here... That is a project for another day though. If I only had something else to drive for about a week, and had you or Rob or Jason help me, I would start on it. I need to get a carrier and get it geared, then I can seriously start thinking about it... oh, and I need a sye before then too.

Brad - did you use the Kilby Enterprises kit for your York oba install? It looks as if you got a pulley for the alternator to adapt it to a V groove pulley?

yeah, I used the kilby kit. If I had to do it now, I would build the bracket myself but probably still order the kilby pulley... that was the main reason I got it in the first place.

Have you ever seen any description of dimensions of that plate? It looks to me like it is going to be pretty tight fitting it into a TJ. I believe I will have to move the stock air cleaner box for the compressor to fit.

no, but if it will help, Pat Holland just mounted one in his YJ by fabbing some brackets and it mounts at a 45 degree angle...

Thanks Brad that may be a better option since with it sitting straight up I will have to raise the radiator support rods with washers. Thanks for the idea.

you can just do an k&n kit at the same time since, I mean, you have to move the air box anyways...

If you do mount it at a 45 then you will have to use shims to tighten the belt since moving it up and down on the bracket will be in the arc of the belt. Or you could rig up some kind of tensioner that you adjust with a bolt.
