Well just thought I would post up a thread on my new project. Its a 88 4Runner that will be my DD and my lite duty play truck while I find and complete my future trail rig. I was planning on originally making this my trail rig, but after going through it the body and interior is immaculate for a truck that is 19 years old. Other than the paint the body is straight with minimal rust, while the interior, other than a bit faded and 1 small tear in the headliner, is almost perfect. Plans in the immediate future (as in next couple weeks) is a complete engine rebuild, chevy springs in the rear, a set of ball joint spacers, a set of custom sliders and bumper, and a fresh paint job.

I didn't do a rattle can job before, I used a gallon of oil based Rustoleum with my spray gun. I wont be using the oil based this time(too soft when cured), but the alkyd enamel from the Rustoleum line.
