Wait, I am confused... has the Jeep buildup started or the Chevy Luv 383 stroker project started??

Well the Jeep is now resting in a 25'x30' shop. As soon as I get moved the teardown will start. Be on the lookout for a lot of stuff for sale. I have tires, axles, trans, etc.

Well I have slowly started on my Jeep. A friend came by the other day and we started taking it apart. I like two bolt from having the entire body off of the frame. I will have to get my torch working to get those bolts. Here are a few pics.

Well I have not got much farther on the Jeep since the last picture. Working too much! I have acquired a lot more jeep stuff. I now have 3 rear d44s, 1 amc20, 1 d35, 2 d30s, 1 rear d60, and 1 front d60. Next I need to get a good welder. I am planning to buy a millermatic 175. I just finished running the wire for my shop so I can run 220v. Running 1.5" conduit under cement walkway is not fun. I have the conduit run and the wire pulled through it. Now I have to just wire the breaker box.

I got my old camera from my Mom, so I can post some pics this weekend. As of right now the body is off the frame. As soon as I get these old bushings out of the YJ springs, I will have the rear axle in. I also have most of the parts to outboard my front springs. I am waiting on a few parts for my engine. I finally have all the parts for my tc adapter, just need to bolt them on. I also got a wonderful V-day gift, a plasma cutter. Now I just need some time to work on it.

Yea, I am having to take it slow right now. Too much school work to do right now. I have only been able to work on it a few hours each weekend. Maybe I can get on it during spring break.

For all of you that are looking at a plasma. The Parker MP plasma I got is great. Go take a look at them on Pirate4x4 Venders section. If you go through Pirate they are only $399 for a 40 amp machine.

Well I finally got tired of trying to beat the YJ bushing out of the springs and torched them out. By the way do not do this, alot of black mess. My luck just gets better. I ordered YJ bushings, and they do not fit, they sent CJ bushings. So I had to call and get some more sent to me. I hope I can find some time to go to Fastenal before Sat. to get a few more bolts I need. I should have my rear axle setup this weekend.
