Sweet...it's always nice seeing the naked frame. Things are so much easier to work on w/out the body. Nice shop too, by the way.

I noticed in the for sale section that you are changing directions...care to fill us in? I'm curious. Realy the only things are the paint scheme, completely custom interior and I decided I would keep the hard top and full doors for winter driving. Wait, that's basically the whole Jeep isnt it? ;D Now it's going to be all or nothing as far as the top. The frame, roll bars and and some of the interior are going to be yellow. Black/yellow interior, spice would kinda screw up the look imo. The factory dash is getting scrapped and replaced with me either making a fiberglass one or fab one from plate. I got the frame primed and painted this week and hopefully will be done with the axles and diff covers this weekend. I'll post some pics as soon as i get it back rolling. Also, stickin w/ the 258 and 5speed. My wife wants a CJ w/ a pink/purple scheme, so i'm saving the 350 and auto trans for hers since she can't drive a stick. So, from my failure to decide what i want someone should be getting a decent deal on some items. |

Here's the frame after paint this week. We had it upside down on stands, so i've got some touch up to do. Should have the axles painted and frame mounted back this weekend.  |

I've been busy with the holidays and everthing else, so i haven;t had time to get these posted till now. I actually have the engine, trans and t-case painted & mounted back in place. I'll try to get a pic of that up this afternoon. Here's the frame now and the underside of the body after Rattleguard yesterday.   |

OK, the body is back on with a 1" poly-body lift. We're going to Rattleguard the interior this week. The exterior will get completely wrapped in black diamond plate this week, bdp on top of tube fenders and the hood sprayed w/ black Rattleguard. I'll post some more pics as we move along.  |

Finally finished up on the diamond plate this week and got a coat of primer on it. Instead of rolling the dp on the rear corners, we welded a piece on 1" chromoly on the corners & squared them off w/ the dp giving them just a slight rounded corner. Also started on the wiring harness from Kwik-Wire. Turns out i like their harnesses a lot better than painless and they're a good cheaper too. We cut out the flat CJ-style dash on the plasma table and will get it installed this week. Planning for paint this weekend. and yes, the tailgate is gone.   |
