Jason J, Daniel, and I went to the scrap yard over in Columbus yesterday and bought 220 ft of tubing, some 1.75", 1.5", and 1.25". Im gonna get started on my cage this week I believe, and maybe a front stinger. Robs gonna let me use his bender. Hey Rob, what times are the best for me to come out to your place, b/c Im not sure how long its gonna take to get this done. I might be working during the day next week, but Im not sure yet. I cant work on it past 5 pm though. I was thinking I may bend all the pieces at your place, and then weld it together at school if I can. But if the pieces dont fit right, Id have to go back to your place to bend some more. Rob, do you have a notcher? If not, I can cut them at school too. Hey, why dont we just make it a "class project" and let your students build it so they can practice there welding so itll look good ;D.
so I will be out of pocket for a week or so there till after Christmas. Whatever works out best for you we'll do. Have you got the plans laid out to build the ramp? I do not have a notcher, but I have a torch that will notch.
