We are starting to bend tube Friday morning. My work has a winter break Friday and Monday. We may be bending tube Saturday as well if everything works out. I have got to pick the tubing up from True Grit and hopefully will be back at Jason's "JWP Customs" by 9:30 or so. Probably will be working most of the day if anybody wants to drop by.

How do you get there. I'd like to come out and watch. I don't know if I can help, since y'all have already taken everything apart. I'm real good at taking things apart, its putting it back together that gives me trouble.

From Starkville, head North on 389. At the 4 way stop in Pheba (about 12-15 miles from starkville) turn right -east. Go about 5 miles and start looking for a small Waddell sign. Shortly after that sign Jason's house will be on the right. There will be a Jeep Kaiser truck in the yard. Jason's jeep will be under the garage and the shop is beside and behind the house. He drives a white Dodge 4x4 and my brown Ford Duelly will probably be sittion out front.
Jason correct if I am wrong on these directions.

Dustin, you can follow me if you would like to. I will probably be there since I kinda helped talk him into all this work... Heck with all these people, why couldn't we have it done in a month?

Got the tube back from the sandblaster today and they are itching to get some bends in them Here are the preliminary CAD drawings that Jason has drawn up in Autocad. Looking at around 130" wheelbase. The Bronco was originally 120" and I was tickled with the performance of it then and I think 10 more inches will be just fine. At the moment we are thinking about running 3 link with coils front and rear.

Well we have had a busy weekend on the Bronco makeover. I guess I must stop referring it as a Bronco as I am not sure now that any piece of it will remain. We put many hard hours in and accomplished a task that I never thought would be possible in a long weekend. I am posting about 15 pics, but all of them should be less than 2 mb so maybe it won't take too long to download. Many thanks to Jason, Cathey, Brad H., Brad P., Dustin, and Craig for helping out. Here is how we started Friday morning: Jason flexing on the tubing bender: Brad and Jason laying out the initial frame: Tacking: First plane done: Craig and Brad chopping some tubing: It looks like all I do is sit on my tail This is basically how we left it Friday night: First glimpse of the uprights after starting work Sat. morning: The next few pics are of the progress made Sat. : Is this wicked looking or what? Monday we finished up bars in the rear and the side: Vroom Vroom: Check out this awesome view of the rear. It looks a little We just climed an awesome hill (in our minds): The next step is to flip it over and build the transmission mounts, boat side, and make provisions for the motor install.

Jason correct me if I am wrong, but It is somewhere around 200 ft. of tubing at the moment. It is going to be a little heavy, but the bling bling factor contributed to that some as well as the fact that I wanted to keep my family as safe as possible.
