The bus is in Carrollton now, about an hour west of here. We have taken it to Talladega multiple times so it should make it fine. The heat works great as long as the bus is running. The bus has insurance as far as I know and there is a tag on it, I will have to check to make sure it is not expired. The gas mileage is more like 8mpg, which is okay considering you could haul 5 or 6 people with you and split it up. It does have a hitch and should pull anything you could hook to it. We have only pulled a trailer with a golf cart on it, but the people we got it from used to pull a boat to Arkansas. As far as a "family" camper it might not be the best option because we never got around to installing a toilet. But it is a high and dry place and sure beats a tent.

I am sure that Rob will say the same thing, but if you want to, you can leave that thing in my yard. I haven't had an arguement with Cathey about the yard in about a month and we are do one. ;D

You should have seen my mom when we brought that thing home. We parked it on the street in front of the house for about a month while I worked on it. And it was on the street that goes to the high school where my mom works. She would come home telling about what all the people were saying about it. We were so excited to get that thing she couldn't stand to make us move it right then. Now it resides at the farm though, I think that when I painted the flames on the hood and "Midnight Rider" across the front it went across the line ;D But, hey, I will park it in anybody's yard for $1500. I have noticed that every event thread somehow ends up talking about the bus... what's up with that?

I just made reservations at the Best Western in Gardendale for Brad, Rob, and I on Friday night. Our plans are to drive up Friday afternoon, spend the night and ride all day Friday. We will come home Friday night. Camping was called off and put on hold waiting on fairer weather. We can camp in March-May in Tellico maybe. Who else is going?

Well it looks like just Brad, Rob, and I are going from this area. Guys, I vote our plan to be meeting up at Rob's and leaving around 3:30 tomorrow. Does anyone agree or disagree with that and want to do something different.

That sounds pretty good to me as well. I have not laid a finger on my Bronco this week like I was planning on doing. I just got back from technology competitions with my students and am working on about 10 hours of sleep for the past 48 hours. You guys may have to be a little patient as I throw things in the truck tomorrow.
I haven't really cranked my bronco since the mud riding New Years Eve. I hope nothing major is wrong. I will try to check it out tonight.

Got the tools loaded last night. I may have to do some adjusting when we get there. So it looks like we are on for 3:30 at my house.
