well, i talked to Jerry over in mt. olive and jason after he got back home yesterday. the weather was beautiful for 4wheeling this past weekend, but mechanical problems plagued the whole crew. jason twisted a tube in the front d-shaft on sat. and with nick's help they had another one cut down and welded to get jason up and running in no time. jerry ruined another radiator when the fan on his YJ went through the rad. for the 3rd time. it left a football size hole, and jason had to tow him back home. that's how jason broke the d-shaft. mitch from tupelo had engine and wiring probems most of the day. zack beat on his tacoma all day and had no problems as far as i know. at one point late in the night, he yelled out to a bunch of fellas that his truck would climb over more sh** than anyone else out there. as one can imagine this led to some serious displays of masculinity, such as measuring body parts and pulling guns out. well maybe no measuring, but guns were pulled and lots of obscenities were shouted between both parties. the incident ended without incident and no shots were fired. by all accounts the mud hole at the bottom of the trestle was really deep this weekend. several people tried The Stairs but i think zack had the only successful run. they did rock garden 2 and 3 along with some trails around Mister Rock. that's about it for all the semi-moral trail action and antics i can deliver on the BB.
