Yes the place in West Point is on HWY 50 w. about 8 miles out of town. The guys name is Johnny and he hosts a big mud bog out there every New Years Eve.
I have ridden that property in Columbus that you are talking about. There are some pretty decent terraces and hills to climb. However, shortly after I rode there I found out that the property was posted and I noticed that a gate had been put up to one entrance of it. I really would not feel comfortable riding anywhere unless we had permission to go in. Do you know the owner? I was told that it was city property. It would be sweet to get permission to go in there.

Ok here is a location update. I called Charlie, the guy on 389, and he said that it would be fine to come out there and ride Monday. I told him that I would pass that information along and whoever is scheduling the events will get in touch with him about an approximate time. Whoever that is, shoot me an e-mail at rnsmith@ebicom.net and I will give you the phone # and information.
The place in West Point may be out of the question. The owner has been in Bristol, TN at the Nascar races for the past week and I haven't been able to get in touch with him. I have heard through the grape vine that part of his property is a dove field. Season opens Sat. and it would probably not be good to trample his field.
Speaking of dove season, I had planned a big hunt on Sat on my farm but circumstances did not allow all those invloved to hunt Sat. so I had to move it to Monday. Does anybody have any idea of a schedule Monday? If it is in the morning I will not be able to make it, but if there is any riding in the afternoon I would love to go. However, i am converting my Bronco to propane and if anything goes wrong this week I may not be able to ride anyway.

I just talked to Charles. We are on for Monday. The plans are to meet up at Rick's cafe at 10:30 and get to the location on 389 about 11. This is the place where the Ultimate adventure was held. There is a shady place where we will cook. The trails have not been ridden in about a year. I am going to try to make it over there sometime between now and then to take a look at them. If anybody wants to go with me, shoot me an email bradhughes@gtjc.org Also, we need to get a count of how many are planning to attend so that we have enough food. If you are planning on making it, post a reply or email me at the above address. Thanks!

Nobody is sure what the hurricane is going to do... If it rains on Monday we will still ride, but may have to change the cookout plans.... keep your fingers crossed.
