The dates for the Fall for All this year is October 21-23. That is the end of the third full week in October. If I don't set a goal for a ride and everyone make me stick to it my buggy will sit in the garage unfinished forever. If I knew a lot of people would go on a ride somewhere in approximately a month, it will give me the inspiration to get moving.

That is homecoming weekend for MSU. Cathey has said that she has no sentimental ties to that game though, so we may can go. I have to get my tow rig ready by then.

Rob, how is the buggy coming? I have plans to have mine together by then. I scrounged up enough parts to get my D30 going while I build my front 44.

Brad, I was on schedule until life threw me a little curve last week. I guess it is a good curve. I started this past Monday as the director of the West Point Career and Tech. Center. Making the transition from my classroom to this new position has had me a bit occupied. The buggy is not out of the question. I have whittled it down to electrical wiring, driveshafts, exhaust and shocks. A good solid 6 hours with no interruptions could get it moving. Regardless, whether or not I get the buggy going I will still go and camp. My family and I bought a slide-in camper to go in the back of the truck and I have been dying to try it out. Heck, I might even take the shopping cart for kicks and giggles.

I got my driveshafts in and my gagues installed last night. So the motor is creating centrifugal motion at the ground. If all goes well, I may have the buggy ready to go with the exception of paint and extra goodies. The plan is to attempt to take it to my farm in Kemper county this weekend to see what major problems may need fixing.
