If it looks like a tornado outside, I'm not coming. I like the club and all, but not that much. I don't mind pushing the date of the meeting. I'm up for whatever.

I vote for another meeting next week at the same time and place regardless.

The weather doesn't matter to me, BUT it is gonna be quite a mess out tonight.

im headed up there, it'll take me 15 minutes to get there. its about 5:45. I could use a break from work anyway and I dont care too much about the weather

Great to see you guys had a great meeting. In hindsight I wish I had come since the weather wasn't as bad as anticipated at that time. However, the low pressure must have stirred younguns up yesterday. I was in my office documenting over 15 discipline referrals for the day. That involved a ton of paperwork and calling parents. I usually only have 1-2 referrals on a daily basis. Full moons and storms have an adverse reaction behavior I firmly believe.
Any significant decisions made at the meeting other than what good food to eat?
It is 2:30 A.M and the sirens just went off - gotta run check the weather.

Well I didn't need weather to make me miss the meeting. Had a dead battery when I headed out, no big deal, boosted off and headed on. By the time I got to campus my head lights were REAL dim. As I parked I thought maybe I should re-crank to be sure. Nothing. Made a lap through the Union and realized I hadn't ever seen a pic of anyone in the club. Got in touch with a friend that was on campus. Got boosted off again and on the way home I had about 2% head lights. My jeep died as I slowed down at my house.
I'll try round 2 next week.

Made a lap through the Union and realized I hadn't ever seen a pic of anyone in the club. I thought about that when we were eating. Craig said "well I guess this is all who showed up". Then I reminded him that there may be more club people there, it's just that no one knows who anyone looks like. After last night's meeting I realized that 1) the union's a big place so it's hard to have a specific place to meet, and 2) it's hard to park around the union because everyone else is meeting there and the cafeteria to eat. It's a nice place and all, but I'm just thinking that maybe we should meet somewhere easier. Parking on campus is still hard at 6pm. Plus, if we met at a restaurant or somewhere, it would be real easy to tell there were people meeting. Whenever we met at Christy's last year, it was real easy to tell who the Jeep club was. Maybe we should think about not meeting in the union... -RC |

Could we change next weeks meeting to Thursday? I work on Tuesday, but if it would be better for everyone else on Tuesday leave it as is.
I like the smaller restaurant vs. food court as well.
