www.caos4x4.com/event_info/event%20flyer.pdfI generally hate big rides at Grey Rock but I have decided I would go on this one. I will be a bachelor that weekend and I have a friend that will have a new buggy there so that is enough of a reason for me to want to go. I will either make it a day trip on Saturday or will leave Friday afternoon and stay the weekend. What is everyone up for?

Won't be able to make it - loading the camper and traveling to San Antonio, TX to visit the in-laws. My wife's grandmother is not doing well.

I had a good time Saturday. It was very dusty because they did not get any of the rain that we got. It was very crowded and I still hate that place when it comes to big rides. It was pretty amazing though that we were able to get a good bit of riding in for one day. We did Buzzard Roost, Bump and Grind, Poison Rock, Sense of Humer, Rock Holler, Tipetoes, Bents and dents, and CABLE HILL. It was so dry that cable hill was not that hard. I took a few pictures: Terry on Bents and Dents. I was amazed that this flatfender did all of the trails except cable hill. He actually made it up Buzzard Roost much easier than I did. Craig on Bents and Dents Rusty on Bents and Dents A friend of mine had a buggy built by Adam Woodlee of Wide Open Design and here is a picture of it. It is probably the nicest buggy I had ever seen. Bob is brutal on equipment and he told me that if it stayed looking this good after the first day, he was alright. This is the ugliest rig there and what a waste of 47" LTBs

That's a nice lookin buggy that guys got......might I ask how much it was ? I don't know how much it was. He said earlier that his budget was $50K but later told me that it got out of hand. He did ridiculus stuff like chrome out some of the tubing to make the price to a lot higher. Buggies are expensive if you get someone else to do them. He really got a deal compared to what OffRoad Connection or Blue Torch would charge for a TurnKey.

Mike Rogers sent me some pictures and he had one of Terry making it through the hard part at Buzzard Roost and I thought I would post it. Notice his body laying on the rock.
