Well, I am in Greenwood and just got on the site, so sorry for the late trail report, Rob.... I broke a passenger side u-joint and inner axle shaft on saturday, I got it fixed and went back riding. Keith Thrash from CMSJA was overheating due to a sticking thermostat. And Jason rode hard all day Saturday with no breakage, but on Sunday was going up the Pipeline Rock Garden and was doing really well, but then the hiem joint on the traction bar snapped and broke the rear driveshaft and bent a rear leaf spring in the process, and punctured a tire all at the same time... It made a cool sound Those rocks at Hot Springs are sharp as razors... I have new cuts too. And hills! man, the hills are insane. I followed Keith's Cherokee around on Saturday and there were a few hills we went (slid) down where I watched his rear tires come off the ground.... they are as steep as the hill at Ridge Lakes, only they are about 1/8 mile long. I need new seat covers after this trip! Pictures to follow, when I can get back to my computer at home.

I had a lot of fun. It was certainly some of the best trail riding that I had ever seen. Most of the trails that I ran Saturday were full of rocks and very technical in nature. It took a lot of finesse driving and tire placement. It was very fun. The rocks are amazing that they are very jagged and you can get insane traction on them. I climbed rocks that I should not have been able to climb.
There was to big of a crowd on Sunday and I just got carried away. I had to good of a day Saturday to try to make my jeep go up that Rock Garden.
I guess it is just time now to move onto coils springs and links in the rear.
My only other damage that Brad did not mention was that on Saturday I some how or another had a 8 inch diameter tree jam between my rear tire and inner fenderwell in front of the tire. They had to winch me off of it and it pull my poison spider corner guard out about 6 inches. I had to take a hammer that a guy had and beat it back in place. That was a pretty exciting experience.

Brad, this is Paige, I wanted to make this ride but I did not think anyone was going. That is until I looked at my mail and saw that you were askin, then saw it here. I will however make the next run, I am also wanting to go to HS very bad. So we will need to plan a trip when the others that were askin get ready.

Hey, Paige. We will definitely be going back, this place was awesome. And you would have a really good time in your rig.
