Another option for March

Okay, there is now another option for a March ride.
The Jeep Jamboree that is held at Hot Springs has been cancelled this year due to low enrollment. (imagine that, you can go for $40 any day of the year and Jeep Jambo wants to charge $250 a head) Anyway, they have set aside that weekend for a "manager's special".

For those of you that may have been planning to go to the Ouachita Spring Jeep Jamboree, since it has been cancelled due to low registration, the park has set that time aside for a "Manager's Special" for that weekend.

Mr. Clyde called me yesterday and sent me the details.

Spring Break Weekend................Friday-Sunday March 11-13

Everyone is welcome!!

Price is $40 for the entire weekend including a one-year premier membership.

New Climate controlled shower house/restroom is completed!

Concessions will be available for all meals!

Land's Jeep of Benton, AR will have some equipment displayed.

Specialists and off-road equipment will be available form "Mud Connection", Little Rock, AR.

The vendors and the park will be giving away door prizes and goodies.

Jason, I think I have decided to just go on through Greenville and up to pine bluff and hot springs that way... It looks shorter on the map, and my Jeep will appreciate the slower speeds. We will see you sometime early Fri. afternoon. I talked to Keith Thrash and he is going to get there around lunch on Fri. He will be in a black Nissan Armada pulling a gunmetal gray Cherokee if you want to look him up. He said he was going to set his tent up on his flatbed trailer.

You Hot Springs folks have waited too long to give a trail report. It is 9:30 on Monday morning and I wasn't going to start getting anxious to hear about it until you got a good night's rest, but my goodness 9:30 and no word. How is a man supposed to cope with this anxiety.
