Well I finally got up enough nerve to take a look inside the differential on my D30. The ring and pinion both have damage, so those will have to be replaced.
Carrier and housing look alright though. Does anybody know anywhere to find quality 3.54 gears? Also, is there anywhere around the Golden Triangle area that does quality work? I normally work on my Jeep, but I heard it's hell to get the ring and pinion right.
Thanks again, Jason

Edit: Actually they are 3.77. Don't know where I got 3.54 from.

I do know of a guy in West Point that has set gears up on 4x4's and race cars. He has all the right tools to dialing in the correct backlash and such and am told that he does a fine job. The only thing is that he has a circulation problem and will probably be best if the whole axle were removed and taken to him.
I will PM you the information.
