Haven't heard or seen anything from anyone in a while. Guess everyone either graduated or moved away? Chime in and give an update on what's going on.

Life with 3 kids and a wife that works nights! Chip is in Jackson as a architect and started a brewery called Lucky Town and Brad Parker moved down to the coast. Unsure of anyone else. I see your jeep in Starkville every once in a while.

Yeah. understand about life. Haven't gotten on here much in the past year either. Bought me a 93 YJ in Nov. to build up. Still got and drive the CJ5 but have a tub and frame to convert to CJ7 when time and $$ permits. It also needs a motor swap as the 304 is wore out. Got a 360 to swap in but need various parts for the install that seem to add up $$.

Primarily a flywheel and a balancer. The engine came off an automatic so didn't come with a flywheel. Those were the big ticket items. If you have a source that would be great. Not against paying for used stuff just haven't been able to find anything except buying new items and seems everyone wants major $$ for new stuff.

I think when I did my 360 swap I used the same flywheel and balancer, but it's been a while.

My understanding was that the 360 was balanced differently than the 304 and since it was an externally balanced engine, the flywheel and balancer is what was the difference.

Life happened to me as well :-). I have a new job in Meridian so my family and I will be moving there and starting the new venture July 1.

Well fellas, my family has had an interesting couple of years. We moved away about 4 yrs ago to Brandon. During the time there I keyed in pretty extensively with the CMSJA. My ole CJ has come a long way in that time. As of this past week, we have relocated back to the great city of Starkville!  I am seeing that it looks like there is a new Forum site. I'll go over to that one and register and try to get back up to speed. Unless otherwise directed. Haha. |
