I put the mastercylinder and booster but no proportioning valve hitting the brakes does not make it do it. It does it when you let off the gas like when the frame twists

Ah. Don't sound like that's it then. Perhaps you've got some lateral movement of either the steering box (frame twist at the steering box mount), or axle (shackle "looseness" caused by bushings)? On my CJ, the axle seems to move more side-to-side than the steering box does, expecially now that my box is braced, but my radial tires don't seem to have nearly the effect on that as much as the bias plys did. I'm sure 35's would have more effect than 33's too.

well, we are in the hospital right now with a new baby girl, but as of now i have cut out the rear cross member, spring under with cj7 rear springs and a small shackle and the front is srping under with waggy springs, maybe this week if heather will let me go out to the shop i will get it finished........with this anyway, maybe this will help with the wider springs

well....i got the springs under the jeep. wagoneer in the front, cj7 in the rear, but when all is said and done i had to use the long shackles which i thought was some of the problem causing the wandering (and the narrow springs). should i go spring over and use a small shackle or go the way it is, the shackle is not much longer than say a yj shacke...i wanted it to be a little taller but i am going to put tj flares on it . i am about where i was with the 4" lift now even with the shackles. with the flares it will open the wheel well up the tires out of the body....any comments...here is the photobucket link.......... s250.photobucket.com/albums/gg258/danbrewer72/?action=view¤t=DSCN5344.jpg

I drove the 5 today for the first time since sept., ended up with waggy springs all the way around with custom shackles (homemade). I stretched the front about 2" and the rear with tj flares, I am going to cut the front flares and take about 3" out to keep from making new inner fenders. I also made a new rear bumper out of 4" square and cut and sectioned a 45% angle with a receiver hitch built in. Total wb is 89" which is good for a early 5.

Glad to hear it is going again. I know it took you a while to get the springs right.

Very good. I'm not familiar with the Spartan locker. Lunchbox style?

Sounds good man. I still haven't forgot your offer on the shop space but with our little girl only being 2 weeks old the jeep has kinda taken a back seat for a while. I have spent the down time collecting parts though so it'll be ready when I've got a little spare time.
