My family and I will be there. I have been working on the buggy this week and I am pulling it home today. I may just keep it on the trailer and pull it to the meeting.

Sorry I could not make it. I spent all morning putting a dana 80 back together. A friend was having trouble with his F250. I got home about 3:00. I could not get out of bed with only 2hours of sleep. So how did it go

We had a good turn out, I think there were 12 or so people that showed up, and Rob brought the buggy which was very eye pleasing. I just wonder what all the passing cars were thinking when they drove by. It was nice putting faces with names with some of the guys/gals that I havent met. It looks like we are gonna be getting the ramp started at the Robs shop in West Point, so Ill see if we can get together a design and some funds together for the metal. I guess I should update the ramp post again to spark some interest. We talked about the show for the disabled that will be in May in Columbus at Lowndes Lake I believe and Im going to get in touch with Brad H. to see if I can find out his contact for the stickers.

I agree with Chip it was a good turn out. It was a lot of fun. This was also my first get together with the club... Now I can read these logs during Webpage design class and know who's saying it. The tube buggy was amazing too ... WOW

Rob, We bought Byron's '84 CJ yesterday and drove it home. Now we just need to finish up the '85 before we start the new project. Thanks for hooking us up! Mark

I think you have got a good solid CJ7. I believe it is a wide track CJ. Does it still have the hood ornament? Wasn't it a bulldog off of a Mack truck or something? I would definitely keep that!

Yeah it still has that ornament ... its really big! it probably did come from a mack truck or something of that nature. we'll keep it and find something to do with it. it's really mechanically sound, so i'm excited about working on it; we just gotta finish up that ole rhino lined 85 first

Our next meeting date is scheduled for this Thursday night June 1st. I met the president of a local hot rod club called Southern Cruisers @ the Disabled Childrens benefit. They are meeting @ Fire Mountain in Columbus Thursday night for their monthly business meeting. I told them about our Web Site and forums and there has been some interest about from them about settting up something similar.
What do you guys think about meeting with them @ 6:30 . It will give us meeting ideas and they may want to inquire about the forum and Web Site.
