Ok it's almost July, so I want to plan this Tellico trip. The past 2 years you guys have gone I haven't been able to go becuase of RA duties. This year I'm going unless some emergency comes up.
Summer school finals end around the 3rd, so I was thinking of going the weekend of the 4th or the 11th. There's a Grand Slam event (Grand Cherokee trail ride) going on the weekend of the 4th there at Crawfords and Tellico. I am leaning more towards going that weekend just to see those guys play around. What's everyone's schedule look like? When can we go? I'm getting excited about this....

its best to go when theres nothing going on imo, just less traffic on the trails.... thats all

I agree, those cherokee guys like to stay up late... ha
Although, Chip would still be there if they hadn't helped him set up his R&P in the middle of the night...

i'm down-been planning this one for months now... meaning chip you cannot back out, we have to get you back out on the trails...i miss riding with you guys.

I would love to go, but it will be too soon after the baby gets here, unless it comes in the next week or so... I probably won't ride again until fall unless it's a day trip over to G'dale or Gray Rock.

There will be some guys going up to Tellico from here around Thanksgiving, I am definitely planning on that one.

i have a lot to do before then, and having a ski boat now aint helping any... its hard to work on the jeep when its sunny out!

no, ill keep the boat and buy more jeep parts... hows that sound? then when i sell the boat later on, thats just extra money to buy more jeep parts!

i am hoping that my student "aid" will come in early in august and i might be able to afford to buy one.... fingers crossed.... how do you rent it from u-haul as a one way rental or in town rental or what?

yeah, i always do an in town rental and just keep it for 2 or 3 days. i think it's $49/day.
